Of the products on this site's comparison pages, Dubble publishes the largest free offer. Its pricing page states unlimited guides, unlimited sharing and exports, and redaction included at no cost, with Pro at $18 per user, per month. The other published free tiers are numbers you can hit: Clickdoc's 10 guides, Folge's 5 local guides, Tango's 5 shared workflows, Guidde's 25 videos. Scribe publishes no cap at all, so there is no number to compare it on. Dubble's is unlimited by its own words.
So if the question is "which one gives me the most for nothing", the answer on the published pages is Dubble, and no amount of framing changes that. Clickdoc is not the cheaper starting point and this page does not claim it is.
The question Clickdoc answers is a different one: where do the screenshots end up, and how many times do you pay? A hosted product has to hold your images to serve them back as a link, which is exactly what makes unlimited free sharing possible and exactly what some people cannot allow. Prices change without warning; check the vendor before you buy. Stay with Dubble if
- You want unlimited free guides. Clickdoc's free tier stops at 10 and then asks for $49. Dubble's published free tier has no such number, so if the budget is zero and the guide count is high, Dubble is the better answer and this page will not argue with it.
- You want hosted sharing. One link, kept current in one place, that anyone can open — including people outside your company, and without them installing anything. Clickdoc has no server, so there is no URL to send.
Both of those need somebody's storage and bandwidth, which is what the $18 per user, per month is paying for on the plans above the free tier. A tool sold for a single payment cannot fund a service that runs forever.
What Clickdoc does not do
- No desktop-app capture. Chrome tabs only, on any site.
- No AI-written step text. Steps come from the clicks and the typed input, and you edit the wording.
- No cloud sharing and no hosted links. There is no server, so there is no URL to send — you hand over a file.

Pick Clickdoc if
